A sparkling blue 9-kilometre lake straddling the South Cariboo and West Okanagan. Highway 24, aka “the fishing highway” runs along the north of the lake. The town of Little Fort is half an hour to the east while the Interlakes commercial area is half an hour to the west. Also to the west, along Highway 24, are Bridge Lake and Sheridan Lake which both have convenience stores. Interlakes includes a convenience store, gas station, restaurants, hardware store, real estate office and a number of other businesses.
The lake is stocked with Rainbow trout (Blackwater River strain) and there are a number of boat launch access points.
